Why is the cryptocurrency amount not credited to the account immediately after deposit?
The blockchain must confirm a crypto transaction six times on average for security reasons. Confirmation means that the system has acknowledged that you are the owner of the bitcoins you have sent and that they have been sent to the right person.
The network confirms a transaction by including it into a block, which requires some time. Each confirmation can take up to an hour. Six confirmations are considered to be enough for a secure transaction.
What is an instant withdrawal?
This service helps to ensure the automatic processing of some applications and reduce the waiting queue for withdrawal. You can make two instant withdrawals per day, provided that the total amount of two orders does not exceed $100, and your profile is fully verified. What is Leverage?
Leverage is the ratio of the private investor's (trader's) own funds and the funds provided by the broker to make transactions on the trading account. For example, the leverage can be 1:200 (one to two hundred). This means that with a $50 deposit, you will be able to manage an amount of $10,000 (50 x 200 = 10,000). Thanks to leverage traders can use less of their own funds than is necessary, for example, to implement a specific trading strategy.

This is the percentage added to the client's account (annual percentage). Every day, at the end of the day, at 23:59 terminal time, the account status is checked, the amount of the client's own funds that is not involved in trading is determined. The calculation of the amount of accrued interest per day is made using the formula:
%, daily = (free_margin - credit) x interest_rate / 100/360, where
free_margin - credit - the amount of the client's own free funds at the time of calculation;
interest_rate - declared interest rate; 360 is the number of days in a year.

What are mini lot, micro lot and nano lot? Difference between lot sizes.
The lot determines the number of currency units that the trader plans to buy or sell. The standard lot size is 100,000 currency units. In addition to the standard lot, there are also mini, micro and nano lots, which are equal to 10,000 (0.1 lot), 1000 (0.01 lot) and 100 (0.001) units.
A micro lot is generally the smallest currency unit available for trading. It is actively used by novice traders who want to reduce potential losses. It is relatively rare that some Forex brokers offer nano lots, which amount to 100 units of the base currency.
Traders use micro and nano lots when they prefer to trade small amounts of currency. The smaller unit size allows traders to better control the risk level. For example, the movement of the EUR/USD pair by one point with a standard lot brings the trader a profit or loss in the amount of $1. If the trader only has $100 as account balance, a movement against their position by 10 pips, which can happen in seconds, means that they lose 10% of their deposit.
When using a mini lot, each one-point movement of the EUR/USD pair results in a profit or loss of $0.10 (10 cents). The price would have to move 100 pips for the trader to lose 10% of the deposit. With a micro lot, each point of EUR/USD movement is worth 1 cent. For a trader to lose 10% of their deposit in a single trade, the price must move against them by 1,000 pips. In other words, micro lots are popular among novice traders with a small balance amount on the trading account in order to minimize the possible losses.
Technical questions about trading terminal
What types of trading terminals does Geratsu provide?
At the moment, two types of terminals are available for trading both on the demo server and on real accounts: MetaTrader 4 (MT4), and a web terminal in the Client's Cabinet, which allows you to operate with any type of account.
What is a Multiterminal?
MetaTrader 4 MultiTerminal is a terminal designed to manage multiple accounts at the same time. It will be useful for traders who work with multiple accounts at the same time.
What are the most convenient and popular shortcuts in the MetaTrader terminal?
The most convenient and popular shortcuts in the MetaTrader terminal are:
F9
— new orderCtrl + T
— hide/call the terminal window inside the Metatrader window,Ctrl + O
— call the terminal settings window, where you can enter data for authorization and configure other program options,Ctrl + N
— open the navigator window,Ctrl + Y
— show period separators on the chart,Ctrl + L
— show volume on the chart.
Where is the complete guide to using the MT4 terminal?
The manual for using the client terminal is located in the terminal itself. To view it after starting the terminal, press F1. The terminal developer's forum is located at: https://www.mql5.com/
What are 'Bid' and 'Ask'?
The bid price is the maximum price that buyers are willing to pay for an asset at the moment.
The ask price is the minimum price for which sellers are willing to give up the asset at the moment.
The difference between these two prices is called the spread; the smaller the spread, the higher is the liquidity of the asset.
Buy orders are opened at the Ask price and closed at the Bid price. On the contrary, Sell orders are opened at the Bid price and closed at the Ask price.
What is Stop Loss (S/L) and Take Profit (T/P)?
"Stop loss" is an order that can be placed during or after the trade is opened. The purpose of this order is to limit possible losses. Upon reaching a certain quote of the "stop loss" value, your position will automatically close with a loss or with a profit, if the "stop loss" order was moved either to zero or to profit after the price managed to move positively.
"Take profit" is an order similar to the "Stop loss" order, but exactly the opposite. That is, your position will automatically close when the quote reaches the order value in order to fix the profit.
The order was closed by 'Stop Loss', although there was no such price on the chart.
This question is often asked considering Sell orders because the trader does not take into account the spread. A Sell order opens at the Bid price, which is shown on the chart, and closes at the Ask price which is higher than Bid by the amount of the spread.
To set in the terminal so that the Ask price is also displayed on the chart please click the F8 button, in the appeared window choose "General" tab and click on the option "Show Ask line".
What are 'Stop' and 'Limit' pending orders? What is the mechanism for their execution?
These are orders that will be triggered when the quote reaches the specified value.
A limit order (Buy Limit / Sell Limit) is executed only when the market is trading at the exact price specified in the order or the higher price. A Buy Limit order is placed below the current market price, and a Sell Limit order is placed above the current market price.
A stop order (Buy Stop / Sell Stop) is executed only when the market is trading at the price specified in the order or at a lower price. A Buy Stop order is placed above the current market price, and a Sell Stop order is placed below the current market price.
What are the conditions for placing Stop Loss and Take Profit for pending orders?
The price of the order must differ from the current market price "Bid" or "Ask" by at least the size of the spread for this instrument, depending on the trade direction (Sell or Buy).
You cannot place a pending order of any type, either Stop Loss or Take Profit closer to the current price than the one indicated in the "Trading Instruments'' section in the "Stop & Limit" column.
What is 'volume' in the New Order window?
"Volume" is the size of the trade. It is measured in "lots". You can find more information about lot size rules for each trading instrument in the Specification of this instrument or in the Trading Instruments section on our site. The amount available for you to enter the market can be calculated using the trader's calculator.
The Sell and Buy buttons are inactive.
If the "Sell" and "Buy" buttons are inactive, then you probably specified the wrong trade volume. For all accounts the allowed minimum volume is 0.01 lot, and the maximum is 100 lots. More detailed information can be found in Specification of the trading instrument.
What time is shown in the terminal?
The server time is displayed in the "Market Watch" window in the terminal. It cannot be changed. From the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October, it corresponds to the time zone GMT + 3. The rest of the time it corresponds to the time zone GMT + 2.
Why has the account history disappeared?
If the account history has disappeared, then you need to do the following:
-
- Check if the date on your PC is correct.
-
- Click the right mouse button on the "Account history" tab, in the menu that appears, select "All history". You can also select a story for any period of interest.
How to calculate the cost of point?
You can calculate it with the help of the trader’s calculator. The calculation formula is defined as follows:
The cost of point in the currency of the deposit:
cross_rate_of_the_currency_of_the_order_to_USD x order_volume_in_lots x 100000 x point / current_rate,
For example:
EURGBP = 0,90629;
EURUSD = 1,5616;
The price of a point (EURGBP) = 1.5616 x 1 x 100000 x 0.00001 / 0,90629 = 1.72
The cost of point for CFD:
lot_size x contract_size x minimum_price_change_value
How do I calculate the margin required for opening a position?
The required margin amount can be calculated with the help of the trader’s calculator.
The calculation formulas are as follows:
Direct quote:
Margin = transaction_volume x (lot_size / leverage) x opening_price
For example, Margin = 1 x 100000 / 400 = 250 (250 EUR) for 1 EURUSD lot with 1:400 leverage. If necessary, convert it into the account currency (for example, USD):
250 x 1.5616 = 390 USD
Reverse quote:
Margin = transaction_volume x (lot_size / leverage)
For example, Margin= 1 x 100000 / 400 = 250 USD for 1 USDGDP lot with 1:400 leverage. Since the first currency in the pair is the USD, the margin is calculated in dollars. If necessary, convert it into the account currency (for example, GDP):
250 / 1.1304 = 221.16 GBP
Cross rates:
Margin = transaction_volume x (lot_size / leverage) x current_rate_of_the_first_currency_in_the_currency_pair_to_USD
For example, Margin = 1x100000/400 = 250 GBP for 1 GBPJPY lot with 1:400 leverage. The margin value is always expressed in the base currency (stands first in a quote). If necessary, convert it into the account currency (for example, USD):
250 x 1.4400 = 360 USD
Indexes:
Margin = trade_volume x Contract_size x (price / tick_size) x tick_price x (margin_percent / 100)
For example, for 1 NQ lot (as per specification, Contract size = 1, margin percent = 1, tick size = 0.1, tick price = 0.01, margin currency = USD),Margin = 1 x 1 x 11191.8 / 0.1 x 0.01 / 100 = 11.19 USD
CFDs on shares and oil:
Margin = trade_volume x lot_size x price x (margin_percent / 100)
Please note that first you need to check the type of oil margin calculation in the specification of an instrument because it depends on the liquidity provider and may be calculated like the indexes.

What is swap?
A fee which is added or deducted to the trading account for moving a position overnight is called swap. It occurs only if the client has open positions at the close of the trading day.
The difference between rates of the national central banks whose currencies the client is using plays an important role when exchanging currencies. This difference is creating the swap points amount.
Current swap for opened positions can be checked in the trading terminal.
If the client has sold a currency with a higher interest rate, then he will pay for the position rollover. If he bought a currency with a higher interest rate, then the broker will pay him for the position transfer.
How long can I keep an open position?
There is no time limit for how long you can keep an open position, but it should be kept in mind that for an open position "Swap" will be charged or paid for each subsequent day.

What is 'Margin Call' and 'Stop Out'?
The company has the right to forcibly close the client's open positions without prior notification of the latter, if the current state of funds on the trading account (equity) is less than 50% of the required margin to maintain open positions. If there are several open positions, the company has the right to close one or more of them, starting with the one that brings the greatest loss at the time of closing. This operation is called Margin Call.
If the equity level reaches a value less than or equal to 30% of the required margin to maintain open positions, the server automatically generates an order for forced closure of a position or all positions. This operation is called Stop Out.
What is 'Credit Stop Out'?
Credit Stop Out — forced closure of one or several positions without prior notice, taking into account the amount of bonus funds available on the client's trading account.
If the margin for open positions on the trading account is less than the amount of bonus funds, then the Credit Stop Out situation occurs as soon as the equity level decreases to the level of the margin.
If the margin for open positions exceeds or is equal to the amount of bonus funds, then the Credit Stop Out situation occurs as soon as the level of funds reaches the amount of bonus funds, but no later than the Margin Level reaches 30%.
Why was a position closed on the account without my knowledge?
There were not enough funds on the account to maintain the open positions.
Forced closure of a position in a Stop Out situation is accompanied by a corresponding entry in the account history log file with the comment "so".
Forced closing of a position in a Credit Stop Out situation is accompanied by a corresponding entry in the account history log file with the comment "cso".
What is a 'trailing stop'?
Trailing stop is an internal function of the MT4 when the terminal automatically sets up and moves the Stop Loss level depending on the specified parameters.
When the position becomes profitable by the selected amount of Trailing Stop, the terminal will automatically place a stop loss at this distance from the current price. Each time the current price exceeds the selected value, the trailing stop terminal moves the stop loss level. In other words, the terminal moves the stop loss level behind the price at a distance of the trailing stop value. If the profit of the position decreases, then the stop loss level is not adjusted.
Trailing stop is executed only when the trading terminal is launched and connected to the server via the Internet. If the trading platform is disabled or loses connection to the Internet, then the valid value for the server will be the last set "stop loss" level.

How to find out the size of the spread?
In order to find out how many points the current spread is equal to, it is necessary to subtract the buy price (Bid line) from the sell price (Ask line). Spread amount equals to the number of points you receive.
How to calculate the cost of the spread?
To calculate the cost of the spread, first you need to find out the cost of one point. The point value is calculated with this formula:
(Trade currency in USD) x (trade volume in lots) x contract size x (point) / (current rate)
Then we calculate the cost of the spread with this formula:
The cost of the spread for open trades = cost of 1 point x spread (in points)
